# Streaks

Streaks are a simple gamification feature designed primarily for sports businesses. They encourage repeat visits by motivating members to maintain a weekly attendance streak.

#### How Streaks Work

A streak tracks how consistently a member visits your venue:

* Members must **check in at least once per week** to maintain their streak
* If a member misses a week, their streak resets

Streaks are not tied to points or rewards. Their purpose is purely motivational, encouraging members to keep coming back to avoid breaking their streak.

#### Where Streaks Appear in the App

Streaks are visible to members in:

* The **home page header**
* Their **user profile**

This keeps progress front-of-mind and reinforces habitual visits.

### Setting Up Streaks

1. **Open Streak Settings**\
   Go to **App Settings → Streaks**.
2. **Customize the Appearance**\
   Choose:
   * The icon used for the visit stamp
   * The icon color
   * The streak colors shown in the app
3. **Save**\
   Click **Save**. Streaks will immediately appear in the app.

#### Deactivating Streaks

If you no longer want to show streaks:

* Go to **App Settings → Streaks**
* Click **Edit**
* Select **Deactivate** to remove streaks from the app
