# How to give points for check-in

If you’re using Points Per Check-in, this is even easier:

1. **Choose Your Check-in Method**
   * Use NFC tags for a quick tap.
   * Or, scan a QR code if NFC isn’t available.
2. **Tap or Scan**
   * If using NFC, customers just tap their phone to the NFC tag.
   * If using QR code, staff scans the customer’s QR code.
3. **Points Are Instantly Given**
   * The system awards the fixed number of points set for check-in.
   * Customers see the updated points in their loyalty app right away!

👉 **Tips:**

* **NFC tags** make check-ins seamless and fast—no typing needed!
* Check-in is perfect for businesses where every visit is worth the same.
